BOISE SCHOOLS STUDENTS IMPACTED BY DONATIONS

School Excellence

These activities give students a deep appreciation of citizenship, sportsmanship, and creativity. Research clearly shows that students who participate in arts, athletics, or other co-curricular activities are better prepared for college.

ART & MUSIC

Arts education in Boise Schools helps students understand themselves, others, and the world through creativity and expression. From elementary classes to advanced opportunities in music and visual arts, students build skills and explore their interests at every level. Research shows strong connections between arts education, academic success, and graduation rates. We support these experiences by funding instruments, performances, and art programming across the district.

Athletics and activities help students build confidence, teamwork, and leadership while staying engaged in school. Boise Schools offer a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved, explore their interests, and develop a strong sense of community and sportsmanship. Research shows that participation supports both academic success and college readiness. We support athletics and activities for students from elementary through high school, helping every student stay connected and thrive.

COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

Through partnerships with organizations across the Boise community, our community schools provide meaningful services and opportunities for students and their families. These partnerships help remove barriers to success, connecting students and families with the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

PARENT GROUPS

Parent volunteers play an important role in supporting our schools. The Foundation helps parent groups with fundraising guidance, financial management, and access to helpful tools and resources. We encourage collaboration and the sharing of ideas, helping parent groups learn from one another and build successful fundraising efforts. CAREER TECHNICAL

Boise Schools Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) helps students build real-world skills and prepare for college, career training, or the workforce. Through hands-on learning and industry-connected programs, students gain the experience and confidence needed to succeed after graduation. DTEC provides opportunities for students to explore career pathways, develop technical skills, and connect their learning to future goals. The Boise Schools Foundation supports DTEC through program expansion and direct student support, helping ensure more students can access these meaningful, career-focused opportunities.

EARLY LEARNING

Owyhee and Lincoln Early Learning Centers foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels respected, valued, and supported. With a focus on teamwork, responsibility, and respect, students build a strong foundation for success in school and beyond. The Boise Schools Foundation supports this work by providing funding for curriculum, books, furniture, and playground equipment creating engaging, supportive learning environments for Boise Schools youngest learners.
