Dennis Technical Educational Scholarship Fund
Contributions will be used to provide funds to those students who have the desire and capability to succeed in our programs but are having challenges purchasing their safety equipment, supplies, and memberships that are critical to their success at the Dennis Technical Education Center.
Your Donations at Work
In 2013—2014 the Foundation awarded $144, 814.89 through our Innovation Grant program. With an average grant amount of $2,392.68, we were able to support 61 classrooms. Kate Anderson, Science Department Chair at East Junior High, received $1,620.35 to purchase Verner Conductivity Probes for use in Physical Science and Biology allowing students to conduct experiments on various sports drinks and importance of electrolytes for athletes.
A donation helped fund First Move, opening up the world of chess to young minds at Taft Elementary.
A BPSF donation helped purchase new LED lighting for this Boise theatre class, shedding new light on these talented performers while cutting electricity costs.
Without funding from the BPSF , some students couldn’t afford to play an instrument in their school orchestra or band.
BPSF funds are used to enhance student’s understanding of good citizenship with programs such as “Caught You Being Good”.
